Sharing Pink Ink Designs Nip and Duck and Twinkle Toes.........

Hi there!

I'm sharing a couple more of my samples for Pink Ink Designs today.

The first one is using Pink Ink's Nip and Duck stamp set - unusually I have coloured this in on craft card using my polychromos - something I rarely do and the second sample is using the Twinkle Toes stamp set.  This sample has a large amount of gold shimmer paint on it but it was impossible to catch is shimmering on a photo!

Hope you like them,

My samples for the new Pink Ink Farmyard series........

Morning!!

Well, time once again gets the better of me but you'll see from the samples below that I've been very busy in my crafting world!

This week saw Pink Ink release their new farmyard series and they just keep getting better and better.  Not only are the stamps the best quality that i've ever worked with but there is no end to what you can do with them from normal stamping to heating for use with Angelina Fibres.

So, this release features Cool Mule, Pigtastic, Henpecked and Cow's It Going.

I have attached all the samples that I've done so far but without a shadow of a doubt, there will be many many more made with these quirky characters!!!

A bit of a photo heavy post but I do hope that you enjoy catching up to what I've been up to over the past month.

Luna Fairy for entry in to Stamping Sensations Challenge this month..........

Hi there,

Here is another of my Luna Fairy samples and I'm including her in her own blog entry so that she can be entered in to the current Stamping Sensations challenge of anything with wings.  Well, I thought we have fairy wings, butterfly and I think that's a pretty moth with wings too!

So here's a detailed description of how I got there with this one:-

Luna is such an enormous stamp that this time I decided to show that you don't have to use the whole of a large stamp if you want to make a near normal size of card. This has started life on a 7 x 7 inch piece of watercolour card and popping Luna down to one side enabled me to take the card down in size and gave me enough room to add other elements with her.

A distress oxide background and Luna is coloured with Zig clean color markers (which I am so enjoying using at the moment - they are so vibrant).

The small flowers and book down at the front have been 3D'd on 3D glue gel but that doesn't show too well on a photograph.

Mat and layered with black and a nice shiny hot pink mirror card.

I would like to add this to the entries for this months challenge at Stamping Sensations of things with wings:-

This one was great fun and made me smile - it's a "happy card"!!!

Luna Fairy

I am attaching Luna to a post on her own so that she can be shared in the Allsorts challenge of sun, moon and stars this month.

Luna was one of my samples done for Pink Ink Designs for yesterdays shows and here is in detail how I got there with her.

She has a distress oxide background and has been given that huuuuge spotlight of a moon using a mask made with masking paper.  Coloured with Zig clean color markers and faux bleached around her to give her "energy".

This was a large card measuring 9 inches square as she is such a large stamp!

Finished with my new obsession of Swarovski hot fix crystals, they are so beautiful, they "blink" at you as you move the card!.

I am entering her in to the Allsorts challenge of sun, moon and stars and the link to that is below:-

My samples for Pink Ink Designs this week.........

Hi there!

Well, I'm guilty as charged I'm afraid, I have neglected my blog a bit as I've been on my holidays and then when I came home I have been so busy making samples for TV.  Then in amongst all of that I decided to move my whole craft room to another room in our house!  To say I was exhausted is an understatement but I'm all moved in, can't find anything now mind you, but I'm all moved in and am ploughing on and am very very happy to have some room for once!!!!

So, here I am making a special effort to share my samples that I made for yesterdays Pink Ink Designs shows on Hochanda.

The new stamp sets are Pinky Inky (the Octopus) - isn't he fabulous!!! Seahorse Swirls and Luna Fairy.

So here they come, hope you like them......

I would like to enter the first Luna one in to the current Allsorts challenge of Sun, moon and or stars or something for baby:-

and the second Luna card I would like to enter in to the things with wings challenge over at Stamping Sensations as there are wings everywhere on that one! :-

Hope you've enjoying catching up on my more recent makes for Pink Ink Designs - what a lovely company they are to work with 😊.

These are the last lot of tv samples that I made for the recent Pink Ink Shows on Hochanda.

The first one is the Dragon on a sparkle pen background and the dragon is coloured with Zig Clean Color pens - although it looks 3D, this is a one layer card (I masked the dragon with masking fluid when I laid down the sparkle pen background).

The second sample is a cushion panel that I painted with the new stamp Toucan and then stitched a cushion cover in matching bright colours.

and finally my old mate Old Salt on a twisted easel card coloured with distress oxides on the background and my Zig pens on Old Salt.

I do hope you've enjoyed looking at my first collection of samples for Pink Ink Designs - I've certainly enjoyed playing with their exceptional quality stamps.

The second is Neptune with watercolours.

The third is is the Meadow Hare.

King for a Day......

Hello there!

Golly, I'm on a roll this week!!! (I've managed to find me some "me time" over the past few days and I'm making the most of it because it won't last!!!!

As you will have seen by now, I'm in the middle of having lots of fun with the new Pink Ink Designs stamps and the new lion is a beauty.  I noticed that Stamping Sensations have the theme of "over the rainbow" this month and what better stamp to use to use all of those rainbow colours. I don't know if he's full of rainbow pop art or ready for Mardi Gras!!!!!

Coloured with aqua markers, distress oxides to colour the back mat and finished with some small diamante gems for his crown.

I found myself singing "red and yellow and pink and green, orange and purple and blue, I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow too" - anyone else remember that one?!!! - to make sure I had used all the rainbow colours!!!

I shall share this one with my friends over at Stamping Sensations for their challenge this month of "Over the Rainbow":-

Hope you like him, he sure is a king for the day.

Make a Wish..............

Good morning!

I'm up bright and early to share a card that I made yesterday (well, what better way to spend your wet and windy afternoon than in the nice and warm craft room!).

I made this card for the Allsorts Challenge this week of "For a child".

Now, I absolutely adore mystical characters and what better than a nature spirit - a Hobgoblin!  These make me smile, unlike goblins who are rather fearsome characters, hobgoblins are more rather mischievous and harmless characters and usually up to no good!  They are often found in fairy tales and are usually a miniature elf/goblin/fairy type and usually never have any feet and appear within structures as this one does appearing from a tree trunk.

This stamp set is called Woodbeard and is one of Pink Ink Designs new stamp sets.

I have stamped the main image which indeed is a huuuuge stamp and coloured with aqua markers and then I have cut lots of the other stamps in the set and also coloured those with aqua markers and have used 3D glue gel to raise them off of the card. Ive added the sentiment of Make a Wish but do you think he'll grant it?? ..........no probably not!!!!!

Suitable for a child of perhaps 8 years and upwards, I absolutely adore these characters and I don't know why but he always makes me smile!

I shall be entering Woodbeard in to this weeks Allsorts Challenge:-

I hope you like this one as much as I do!

Thanks for stopping by today,

Leanne xxxx
