A touch of vintage......

Hi again, twice in one day - you don't see many of those!!!

I'm sharing a make that I've created for this weeks Allsorts Challenge theme of "A touch of vintage".

I chose to follow my love of vintage florals.

Here I have had lots of fun with my Pearlywinks ink sprays.  Not only did I spray the background with vintage teal, vintage brown and blue spritz but I painted everything on here with them too. I even sprayed the lace to match!  I love the vintage feel that blues and greens give you when mixed with browns.

I have used the Rose Bloom stamp set by Stacey Barras for Crafters Companion.

With some string, seed beads and sequins, a handmade with love wooden button and hessian ribbon I was done!

I shall pop this in to this weeks Allsorts Challenge of a touch of vintage:-

Thanks for dropping by to see two posts today!

Keeping it feminine.............

Hello there!

I have found time over the last couple of days to make a couple of creations for online challenges (so I may be sharing a second make later today with you!!).

This card I have made for this months theme of Feminine at Stamping Sensations.

I have used a wooden mounted stamp by dk Designs for Impression Obsession called Swing Girl.  Background was created with Spectrum Noir sparkle pens so the whole background has a super sheen to it.  Sentiment is by Inkylicious and I thought it was perfect to think of the wind through the trees when swinging from that tree. Grasses are by Lablanche and the tree is a Two Jays one (turned upside down!).

I thought this was beautifully feminine, I can remember as a small child, the many hours spent in the garden on my swing - no computers or tablets, just swinging in the breeze.

I shall enter this in to the Stamping Sensations Challenge of Feminine:-

I do hope that you like it, feminine with personal memories of a childhood enjoyed.

Mid month reminder for Penny Black and More Challenges for "Flowers All Over" ...

Morning!

Here I am, back with my mid month reminder for Penny Black and More Challenges for our challenge this month of "Flowers All Over".

I had fun with this sample as I got my gelli plate out and made the lovely subtle background.  This beautiful flower is the PB 40-680 At Grace stamp and the sentiment is from PB 30-419 Happy Wishes.

I have used my Koi brush pens direct to stamp for this one and finished it off with some Nuvo drops. - Turned out a rather classy card I thought!

Please remember that our challenge is a hand stamping challenge so your main focal image must be that of a hand stamped image.
