Good morning!
Another card made for a family member today - this time my niece Lili. Lili dances in many competitions so this card is just perfect!
OK, we start our journey today at this point. I have used my gelli plate to give me the lovely flash of brightness on the background here. The brayer comes in to it's own with the gelli plate and results can be stunning. So, I've used raisin Adirondack ink here with Adirondack lemonade on the gelli plate with Sheena stamping card. Then it was Visible Image stamps once again that took over - one of their new sets that I was bought for my birthday in February (Perform). So I've continued to stamp in the same Adirondack Raisin ink that I've used on that background. I stamped the image of the ballerina, then a stamp which I have to admit is my all time favourite stamp - the girls face from Tim Holtz classic favorites by Stampers Anonymous. Then I added a couple of Visible Image flowers to keep it pretty.
Then I got going on that tutu! I started with some glue and glitter, then added some black glass beads - it just got bigger and bigger!!!!! Some silver glass beads went on there too!
The sentiments are from the same Visible Image stamp set.
Some white highlighting on the ballerina, some sparkle overlay pen on the flowers and I was done.
Mat and layered.
I am quite satisfied that my niece will like this one.
Hope you do too! Thanks for stopping by,
Leanne xx
I think your niece will love this, I do, and it's colours are just beautiful which are complimented by the stamps.xx
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning Leanne. I've recently bought the Adirondack Raisin and I love it. The face from Stampers Anonymous works so well with the other stamps that you've used, it's almost like she's enviously watching the ballerina. Superb layout, a great sense of movement and terrific use of light, I love it! Wishing you a happy weekend, crafty hugs, Sandra xx
