Good morning!
It's another Visible Image card today - I've been having a good play recently with the new February release stamps (I had a nice pile of them for my birthday!).
This background started life as a distress ink background but then I added some pixie powders to give it a shimmer around the edge and spritzed with water. Knowing I needed to keep that central area "open", I stencilled with some distress ink around the edge and sponged some Imagination Crafts Starlights gold on there too.
Then the face went on, I chose the closed eyes from the Face It set by Visible Image because I knew the sentiment that I wanted to use from the Own It Visible Image set. I stamped with black Archival ink for both the face and the sentiments. I lined the eye lids with the gold Starlights and then added some circles of Glossy Accents that when dry, I dotted more of the Starlights on to. To finish off and get everything in balance I stamped some falling leaves on the forehead with the same distress ink - these are from the Create It Visible Image stamp set.
A dusting of distress ink around the outer edge, mat and layered.
This would make a great card for a female of any age.
Hope you like todays creation and thanks for stopping by,
Leanne xx
She's a beauty. I love the colour combination and your gentle touch with the stencils look great. These are lovely stamps and you've done a great job with them. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
