Good morning folks!!!
Well, I do hope that you've had a lovely Christmas and the new year will soon be upon us.
Well, it has become very clear to me that with the rate of production for the TV shows over the past few months, I have been unable to keep up with the blogging of my creations (having far too much fun and creating far too many projects!!!!). So I have come to the conclusion that instead of trying to share individual makes with you, I shall, through 2018, when I have been busy working for TV schedules, be sharing whole collections with you! Now there's a treat for you and it will make it a bit easier for me!!!! Of course, when I have made individual projects for myself, they will be shared in the usual way in-between my collections. My production has far outweighed my blogging!!!! Oh dear!!!!
So, today I am sharing my makes from Sheena's new sketchy stamps that were filmed a few weeks back. Now these were an absolute dream to work with, extremely forgiving as being "sketchy", the very nature of the word means that you can produce whatever you like with that sketchy feel very very easily! All of these creations were produced using the new Spectrum Aqua colourtint pencils which are water soluble pencils and lend themselves beautifully to these projects. Of course, any water soluble pencils that you have will work equally as well but I particularly liked the stunning colours that were in these pencil sets.
By drawing directly on to your rubber stamp and spritzing with water you can even stamp with them! - This I have done with the lovely owl and then I worked to enhance his features further.
Lets take a look -
The beautiful poppy has been enhanced with a touch of white acrylic paint.
Beautiful foxgloves, all together as they naturally grow.
Being close to Remembrance Sunday at the time this one just had to be done!
A simple daisy rotated.
Mr fox coming through!
Mr Hare peeking through the cabbages (other Sheena vegetable stamps).
Hows that on black card using the colourtint pencils!
and finally Mr Hare stamped with the pencils and colour washed in.
I was delighted to have a play with this set, (hence so many samples I think!).

Well, I for one, am pleased to hear that we’re going to be treated to the whole collection as one is never enough! There’s so much loveliness here that it’s hard to choose a favourite but if I had to, then it would probably be the first Poppy as I really like the subtle colours. They are all fabulous Leanne and you really do Sheena proud. Happy New Year to you too my blogtabulous friend :) and I wish you lots of crafty happiness in 2018. Crafty hugs, Sandra x x
ReplyDeleteI can see you have come to the same conclusion as I did some time ago Leanne, it's the only way to go to my mind as the TV work does come thick and fast as you are discovering.
ReplyDeleteI also find many of my visitors prefer to see a whole collection rather than have to make lots of visits which is time consuming for all concerned, not least the writing of the actual posts.
As always today's shares are a feast for the eyes, my particular favourite is the Digitalis, after Poppies my favourite flower.
