Be who your dog thinks you are ..................

Good morning!

Saw the challenge theme this week over on the Allsorts Challenge and just couldn't resist joining in!

One of my biggest passions in life are my pets and my love of animals.  The loyalty that they have, the everlasting love that they show us, the confidence that they have in us and the dependence on us is to me, quite remarkable and humbling actually. This is probably why I owned a pet shop for 10 years!

I have two dogs, three cats, two chinchillas, tropical fish, an indoor rabbit and a cockatoo - not to mention three bird boxes in the garden that I am currently watching with blue tits flying in and out and a nest of three baby wood pigeons right outside one of the doors to the house in a lovely bay tree which is currently stopping me using that door! Don't ask how much wild bird food, peanuts, sunflower hearts and blue tit specialised food I get through!!!!

Well, back to this weeks challenge at Allsorts:-

"It's all about pets"

So here I have joined in with a card made using some old Sheena Douglass stamps which I think just hits the nail right on the head - this is one of my all time favourite stamps and I hope I've done it justice!

A dog, his master and the lead that he so wants to be taken out on. The look of "yes please" says it all...

Nothing can get between the bond between man and his best friend and the bond that I have with my own boys is as close as it gets - they make me smile every single day and they are my world.

I hope you like me entry in to the all sorts challenge, it's a cracking theme and one that I hold so very dear.

Thanks for stopping by today,
Leanne xxxxx

  1. We are on the same wavelength in more than just our choice of stamps Leanne, you echo all I think about animals. And like you love watching the birds especially at this time of year when they are darting about building their nests and rearing their young.

After being missing for a year the Jays seem to be back and look to have a nest in the hedge of top paddock so looking forward to their little ones taking flight. And the Cuckoo arrived on 20th, earlier than the last couple of years - yep, we keep a record of all the goings on Nature wise. And 15" of rain so far this year!

Back to your card, a really gorgeous image and so perfect for our 'All about Pets' theme at Allsorts, so pleased you found time to join in.
