Made these samples for Crafters Companion for launch on HSN in America and they'll be coming to the UK so don't panic - at the moment of scheduling this post, I just don't know when!

In Full Bloom Corner Dies and Stamps Inspiration....

I'm here with some creations that I recently made using Sheena Douglass's In Full Bloom perfect partners dies and stamps.  I have created these samples using Imagination Crafts Starlights, Just Pearls and Alchemy waxes and had great fun!

Mid month reminder for Penny Black and More Challenges - "Things with wings" ....

Good morning!

It's mid month reminder time over at Penny Black and More Challenges for our theme this month of "Things with wings".

This card is similar to my first sample card for this months theme in that I've used the new Spectrum Noir aqua tint pens direct to my stamp technique and then pulled in the colour with a damp brush.

A distress oxide background has been added on here too,

I've used Penny Black stamps - 30-416 Happy Thoughts for my sentiment and 30-095 Flower Festival for my flowers, butterfly and dragonfly.

New Donna Ratcliff 3D stencils samples and new Harmony Inkpads by Spectrum Noir

Hi there!

Well, I have neglected my blog somewhat over the past weeks and not been putting on as much as I would have liked.  This has unfortunately been purely down to very heavy design team workloads (which I'm not complaining about - it's been great fun!).  This does however hamper my efforts to keep loading new images on to my blog!  I have soooo many creations and samples that I couldn't possibly keep up on here with what I'm actually creating so I'm cheating today and showing you eight all in one go!

I loved playing with these new 3D stencils designed by Donna Ratcliff.  So easy to use and launching tomorrow on HSN in America along with the FANTASTIC new Harmony ink pads that Spectrum Noir are launching.  They'll be coming to the UK, we've just got to be a little bit patient!!!

By just starting with the lightest of your colour choices and going darker on your second stencil and darker still on your third you can "knock up" these cards in no time at all and they look like they've taken you ages!!!

New theme at Penny Black and More Challenge "Things with wings".....

Good morning!

Well, can you believe we are into July? So it's a new theme over at Penny Black and More Challenges and this months new challenge is "Things with wings".

I have chosen my things with wings to be my butterflies, dragonflies and bee.

I have used the new Spectrum Noir aqua tint pens on this creation, stamping with the pens direct to stamp technique and pulled the colour in with a damp brush.  I have used distress oxides for the background.

30-416 Happy Thoughts set is where my sentiment has come from and the 30-095 Flower Festival for my flowers, butterflies and dragonflies.  My lovely little (or not so little!) bee is from 30-352 Animal Wisdom.

Do remember when entering our challenges that the main focal image of your creation must be a hand stamped image - no digital images allowed please.
